ABOUT THE DSA

WHO IS THE DSA, WHAT DO WE DO?

The DSA is dedicated to helping people share information about defence surveying. We are a registered charity (number 221816 – Charitable Objects and Constitution are here).  In addition to publishing our regular journal – The Ranger – we do this in several ways:

🌐 Arranging and supporting events to encourage socialising and networking across the defence geographic community.

🌐 Helping to preserve the heritage of our defence surveying, mapping, charting and geospatial community.

🌐 Recognising excellence and achievement within the armed forces and related institutions.

🌐 Promoting an understanding and appreciation of defence surveying, mapping, charting and geospatial intelligence.
