After the cancellation of our 2020 Seminar, we had hoped to hold this year's Seminar in September on the assumption that the pandemic would be under control by then. Although the situation has improved over the past month DSA Council recently decided to postpone the Seminar to June 2022.

Falklands Map Display
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, there will an extensive poster display telling the story of the production of the maps and charts produced to support Operation Corporate – the recapture of the islands.
The cost of the event is £30.00
Attendance
As well as DSA membership (individual and corporate), the Seminar is also open to members of the Royal Engineers Association (Geo Branch), the Royal Institute of Navigation, the Royal Engineers Historical Society, the Royal Artillery Historical Society, the Medmenham Association, British Cartographic Society and the Charles Close Society. Individual guests will also be welcome.
Car Parking
There is plenty of car parking, 100m from the venue.
Approach the site via Arlington Lane which runs along the north side of the Mary Hare School and Arlington Arts Centre site. The entrance to the car park is at: Grid Reference SU 46830 71393 or What3Words ///hothouse.sounding.education (don’t use the school’s postcode). There will be a parking marshal providing directions.
Limited mobility parking is available on request.
COVID-19 Implications
The DSA Council will be working with staff of the Arlington Arts Centre to ensure adherence to current Government advice on minimising the risk of spreading COVID-19. However, neither organisation can take responsibility if one of the party subsequently contracts COVID-19.

Payment of £30.00 per head can be made by bank transfer or cheque:

or
• cheque made payable to the DSA.
